The universe/story shes from is a very grim place with alot of war and death.
So Bright colors and a lack of stigma on many social interactions is the norm in order to live a meaningful life right up to an untimely end.

wow .. very pretty ^_^ the colors are really awesome. I always like the close up background thing too .. allows you to see some of the finer details. every things looks done really well. .. i know you dont always do shading on some of the real fine details ... but it looks like you really perfected ever last detail in this piece
