Dear 0cheerio0,
I am writing to request your permission to include this piece of yours in a slide show to accompany our concert. We are a brand new experimental music formation called Umenden ([link] ). Our music reflects the shadowy, the distant, the hidden, and the mysterious region of the mind and we would like our show to be accompanied by images associated with the ideas of desolation, depression, dementia and mental illness in general. The image you have created resonates with these themes and would greatly enrich the visual aspect of our show. We would appreciate it very much if you were so kind as to permit us to use it. Our use of your work would be purely non-commercial β our show is free, as are all the shows we are planning so far, and we plan to make our music available online for free as well. Needless to say, we will give you full credit in our slide show and on our MySpace page, providing a link to your gallery.
Thank you very much,
Max βNekto Kovrovβ Abelev of UMENDEN.

So gritty and it looks like double exposure.
But I'm not sure.
Still love this though.

thank you! I'm trying to figure out what I did myself...I think it was a combination between several exposures and scanning 2 negs together. I'm not sure but it looks like there was a lake involved and some fields/trees...
There's something quite lovely about it, but there's also an emptiness that swirls around (hence the title)
