How do you actually paint the clouds on the cloak? Are they painted on another piece of fabric and then "glued" to the cloak, or do you paint it directly? Iยดm so afraid of ruining the black cloak.

what i did is got red material and drew the clouds on. then you take something called heat and bond and use that to put the clouds on. then i painted the white on.
