Thx and yeah I would've prefered not to have resorted to gradients, but after a manual lightning effect didnt really turn out as good as I'd hoped, I decided to try out how the gradient would look. Lightning fx is something I need to practice more lol XD

I think taking that scene and flash between the original colors and the inverted colors (except for the lighting itself) to make the whole lighting effect. Along with a darker background right when the lighting hits.
