OKINAWA, Japan – Marines and Sailors of Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, stand in a riot control formation during the non-lethal weapons and tactics course taught by III Marine Expeditionary Force’s Special Operations Training Group aboard Camp Hansen, Jan. 22-26, 2007. The service members learned how to use formations to repel unruly crowds and defend themselves without the use of deadly force.
