Description Info:
Meet the Shellafellas!
A Shellafella is a unique companion to Turtledogs

Their shells come in unlimited colors and shapes! However the most common shape is a standard clockwise swirl. Shellafellas have many fun and unique traits to them coming in a great variety! Making almost every Shellafella one of a kind!
It is not uncommon for a shellafella to customize their shell to match their turtledog owner! It is the highest form of flattery in their culture.

Shellafella's come in two forms. Tame and Medicinal.
The only visual difference between the two forms is  Medicinal shells have spikes while Tame have a smooth shell. Medicinal Shellafellas have a toxic venom to them that could cause harm to other creatures excluding Turtledogs! Turtledogs have built up a natural immunity to these creatures and live in perfect harmony with them. they provide a form of protection and companionship! Many Turtledogs have learned to harvest this venom and use it for medicine and even us it as protection from any threats.

Every Shellafella has a pearl on their forehead.
Males have blue-green-yellow pearls
Females have red-pink-red pearls
these pearls are important to their health but also have a high value.
Poaching a pearl from them would be deadly.

Every Shellafella has whiskers on their faces as a form of sharp dagger like  protection. Their faces are often plated for protection as well since their shell can only fit their body leaving their heads exposed to predators and the elements.

Their mouths are a form of soft beak that are lined with a layer of dagger like teeth that could cause alot of harm to anyone who would upset them or try to cause them harm.

Though a Shellafella may have a body much like a slug they normally do not leave a slime trail! Only once a year do they produce a goo, and that is during mating season.

Shellafellas are a closed subspecies to
