What are they?
They're Kittens (or Pups) made from StarDust!
They are formed everytime someone makes a wish.
Typically they are called StarKits StarPups or StarPets

Why do they have part fur and part starDust?
The StarDust is the creator of the body, and it takes a lot for them to take the correct form, as the Stars and Dust are changing their form and colours to fit the wish desired.
(For example:
"I wish for an apple tree!"
The Kit/Pup (determined by the child's preference in the two) will be apple and tree themed!

What happens when you touch the Dust?
It's similar to touching a cloud, but you can feel it a little more. It's like really soft glitter. The Kit or Pup can move their dust away from you.
However, if you tried to destroy the dust, it wouldn't be possible.

Can the Dust disappear?
Actually, the dust cannot.
Once a Kit or Pup is formed, they stay with the child (or adult) who wished them into existence, until they are no longer wanted.
When they are no longer wanted, they will return to dust form, in Space, awaiting the next Wisher.
Sometimes some will hang around on Earth, but they don't usually do this. Typically they will either become dust again, or they will find a new Wisher.

Can you paint over the Dust?
Yes, but the stains and paint wont stay around, as they will fade over time- if you continuously paint on the Dust, you will cause the pet to fall ill.

Do StarPets need to eat?

They can eat any food, but it is not vital for them, as they are Dust.
However, it often boosts their emotion and motivation.
Many Kits and Pups have a favourite food, you just have to find it.

Are they ever aggressive?
Usually not.
They will never be aggressive with their owners- not to be confused with agitated- but if other pets (any kind) are aggressive toward them, they can be aggressive back.
However, StarPets are not usually aggressive, as they are highly social and playful, especially with their own kind.
Although, some StarPets are more moody and dominant than others, but this is all down to the character of the Pet!

Are their eyes always closed?
Yes, their eyes are always closed.
They don't actually have eyes, just dust.
It is unknown if any Pet has ever opened it's eyes.
Anyhow, the Pets have got eyelashes, but this is just for show.
They don't need to see.

If they don't need to see, how do they move around?
They are reliant on sound, but they have heightened sense of smell, touch and of course hearing.
The way they hear is different to humans, as they hear by movement.
If they hear a movement, it causes a colour to show in their heads, helping them to paint a picture of their surroundings.
If it is really needed, StarPets can use their Dust to "see", but it is not usually necessary.

Can StarPets reproduce?
No, they cannot, as they are made of Dust.
If Dust in Space were to ever run out, there would be no more StarPets, only those already created.

Is there a limit to how many StarPets are made from one wish?
Only 5 StarPets can be around from one wish.
This is the reason why so many people in the world have not had their wishes come true.

How long does it take for the StarPet to grant the wish?
This really depends on each pet. Some like to grant the wish and move on as quickly as possible, but some like to prolong the time period.
But, this does not mean the Pet will ever stop trying to fulfill the wish.

Can you request your Pet to stay with you forever?
You can, but it is up to the Pet if they want to- however they will only stay with you until your death/their choosing.
Some Pets will be on Earth for thousands of years, granting the same wish over and over.
As you can imagine, this Wish granting will take a lot of time and energy from the Pet, therefore they will sometimes like to stay a few years with their owner, to take a small break.

Does that mean StarPets can die?
They cannot die, however they can become tired of Wish granting at times- often causing them to stay in Space for a few years, or taking a break. Although if they fall ill, they can be reformed after years of healing in Space- this is considering dying for them, but in human terms they are simply resting until further notice.

Do they require a lot of care or attention?
Yes and no.
You can groom your pet and feed them and make them happy in many different ways, however if they went without they can live with this. But they prefer to at least get attention.
Preferred attention: Petting, playing and talking.
(They cannot talk, but they can Meow or Bark, it is just enjoyable to listen to their owner talk- especially if they can feel you are relieving stress)

Can they feel human emotion?
Strongly. Especially their owners.
If you're stressed, they're also stressed.
If you're tired, they can become tired.
If you're happy, they're happy.

Does that mean Pets can sleep?
Yes, they sleep about the average amount a normal Pet would.

What size are they?
A full grown StarKit is the size of a kitten.
A full grown StarPup is the size of a Puppy.

Does Rarity affect Price?
After thinking about this for a long time, no.
Not at all.
If you wanted to pay more or whatever for a StarPet, you can, but I will not raise prices due to rarities, I think that all StarPets can have multiple and different traits. If I were to just put them to one trait, it would make this species something I would not like.

Does that mean certain traits aren't actually rare?
Technically yes, however I want you to realize that there are LOTS of a StarPets and so there will be LOTS of rares.
Besides, they are purely fictional, so it doesn't entirely matter.

🌟How to gain a StarPet🌟

Since StarPets are a closed Species, you can only gain one through AdoptableMakerz auctions, sales, or special events like "Draw to Adopt" or raffles they hold.
You can purchase MYO's, too!
They are also gainable through trades of owners (check the masterlist to see who owns and who doesn't. If you think someone is selling a StarPet without being an official Owner, then please notify AdoptableMakerz right away!)

Give it a name, a personality, etc.
🌟Can I design my own StarPet?🌟

Unfortunately, you cannot. They are a Closed Species and will remain that way.
However, if you have a MYO slot, you can of course make your own StarPet.
