This is a collab ref-sheet between me and krooku. I sketched everything and krooku lined and coloured it. So this is everything my style 8) But krooku designed it with me <3
Fanaries are an idea by both of us. Just we are allowed to create ones! 8)

Fanaries are small creatures that can nearly live everywhere. (Read more below) They have special features. Their tail is a lantern, which always shines. Their scarf is also really important for the Fanaries as well as their plushies, they need those three features to live.

APPEARANCE

Their appearance depends on their mythical signs. They can be always found on their faces and their lanterns.
There are five main types of markings:

Curly:
Curly symbols show that the Fanarie lives in the forest or on mountains. They can live in the trees or in the highlands.

Geometrical:
If Fanaries have geometrical signs, they live in cities. It doesn’t matter if the city is big or a small village.

Bubbly:
The Fanaries live underwater. Sometimes they also go on the land, but they always try to be near the water.

Special:
These features are only available at special events. Fanaries of this type are extremely rare, because they can live everywhere they want.

None:
No one knows, where these types of Fanaries live. They are rare and difficult to find.

IMPORTANT!
When the lantern of the fanaries don’t glow anymore, they will die soon. So when you see a dark lamp, you know, that they won’t live long anymore.
Their scarf has also a special meaning for them. They keep them warm in cold winter and cool them when it’s a really hot summer. When they lose their scarf, they have problems with temperature and can’t really control it with their own body heat.

Their plushies protect them against other wil animals, since fanaries are really small and can't really fight. The spirits kinda "control" the plushies and try to help them.
