It is a chilly fall night. The wind slowly blows outside, gold and red leaves patter against the glass as they float to the ground. You are blissfully unaware of the cold, however, as you're in the warmest place in the whole Wood. Kanga sits in her rocker, nestled by the center fireplace. She softly reads a novel to both herself and you, though you cannot make out the words from your cozy place, only the soft tones of her voice mixed with the crackling fireplace. This is only the first of many nights you will spend here throughout the coming winter, and you're both happy about it.
