This all happened within the last few hours, and it's completely put me off from ever using Xnalara ever.

So, I went looking for a port of the new Crash 4 models. I found one for Xnalara, and asked if anybody had ported it to Blender. See, for the longest time, I though it costed money to use, like Cinema 4D. Then the poster responded, and the floodgates opened.

First off, he called me an idiot for thinking it was pay to use, so a great start. Then I asked if he could direct me to a download. He did, but the place he directed me to was infested with viruses and adware. I started to get pissed off and asked if it was a sick joke.

At this point, both of us we're getting pissed off. He directed me to another place, but it just led back to the virus cite. After that, he directed me to a more official website, and I was able to download it. Unfortunately, it wouldn't work at all. After a few unkind words from both of us, he blocked me, and I don't blame him, cause I was about to block him back.

Ok, I have a bias against fan made or low end programs, and Xnalara is no exception. I mean, based on what I've seen, it's the Internet Explorer of 3D programs. It looks like it has almost no model editing like Blender, more detail like Daz3D, or any animation ability like SFM or Gmod. The only reason to have it I can see is to port models to the other programs. Also, every other program can be downloaded for free from virus free websites.
