Description

Sometimes I wonder what the attention span of a "modern" human truly is. Not too long ago, they came into my forests to enjoy them and be with nature, a nature that I had carefully kept pristine just for them. But now, they mostly come in groups and only one ever seems to want to be in the forest. The rest stare at small glowing bricks, which I believed at first to house their emotions, as they laugh, cry and rage at them. Now I understand it's a form of communication, one often overused.

I won't lie, I will indulge myself and watch their "phones" with them when they're not looking. The mindlessness of what I see emanating from them is quite remarkable, and explains a lot of why I can walk in the open, and yet many human's won't notice me until I make direct contact. While this makes my job easier, I miss the days when people would be chocked and pleasantly surprised to meet me. But, humans are humans, and they will "advance" themselves into their graves someday.
