Description
Edit: stoked at my sixth Daily Deviation. Thank you so much (JenFruzz) for featuring me.After ten years of attempting to photograph this magnificent deep space object (you can see my paltry DSLR attempts in my gallery), I couldn't hold on any longer and had to share what I've done so far.
This is my first image in a year and my first attempt at narrowband processing.
NGC6188 mapped to the Hubble palette of sulphur II for red, hydrogen alpha for green and oxygen III for blue.
I still need to blend in the LRGB stars to get rid of the purple stars and replace them with natural colours.
This is 24 hours of data, 8 hours in each channel of hydrogen alpha, sulphur II and oxygen III, captured over 18 nights in June, July and August.
I hope you like what I've done thus far.
Comments, critique, lynching, etc., most welcome.

You had better believe I'm coming back for some tips on how to do this. I'm hoping to get into astrophotography, and this is an AWESOME shot. I haven't seen your gallery yet, but maybe you can provide us with some other celestial stuff?
