Description In the game Bioshock, there is an ability where you can trick a big daddy into thinking you're a little sister. As such, the big ol' daddy will come and fight for you in order to defend you. Which is great, at least until they snap out of it and realize you were fooling with them. No one appreciates that.

As stated before, in the Bioshock games you can get the Big Daddy to fight for you, given Zeith's kind of weakling behavior. I mean common, you would think enough would be enough from Sadi eventually, I figured he was more the type to let others fight his battles for him. So inserting him into this kind of environment with a big bad bot man to defend him just seemed to work to me.

If you haven't figured it out already, this image is for Zerna 's contest, something I had been contemplating making a entry for for the last few weeks but just never got around to it. These last few days I've been kinda detoxing from a rather rigorous work schedule, doesn't leave a lot of time for art, kinda leave before I get into it, and arrive too tired to work on it. Hence the lack of art as of late. Buuut, had a day off, and took full advantage of it!

I almost scrapped this picture during the lineart phase of it, having been a bit dissatisfied with the way that Zeith and the big daddy were a bit overpowered by bunny man there. But, well, I like it a bit better now with coloring, so I decided to post it anyways. Was just for fun, so why not.

I have to admit the bioshock game series was one I really enjoyed, both as watching other peoples walkthroughs of it, and playing it myself. Both were thoroughly fun for me, and helped pass the time of many sleepless late nights.

Zeith belongs to Zerna
art belongs to TheEvilTeaDrinker
Bioshock, Big Daddy designs, and the splicers belong to (I believe) Irrational Games

How do you EVEN...anything? Everything is so good. The perspective the details. How long do yo take on these? The insanity level of this masterpiece is cranked to 11+. I don't even know how to do half the shit you do. You make me humbled.

I haven't played Bioshock yet, but I've seen it played and know all about the Big Daddies XD They're scary but dang cool. Wow this looks so great! And LOL Yes Zeith would make a perfect little sister...brother...loser who needs help. |'D

I just bought Bioshock 1,2, and Infinite during a steam sale--awww yeah $11 for the bundle, 83% off BD So I will be playing that soon!

As usual your color theory and angles came out fantastically. Sweet job on the blurring effect too. All the green looks awesome, and of course that Big Daddy came out fantastically.

Thanks for entering, shall add it to the journal! >w>

I'm so happy about some Bioshock action in my inbox!

Zeith's pose is simply adorable; super well put and just guh. ;A;
Also the green glowy effect from the Hypnotize Big Daddy Plasmid really adds to it!

Only thing I would change about it would be giving the drill more blood. c:
And maybe make the focus more intense by blurring out the Splicer's hand in the front ground more.

Good luck in the contest!

Also, which Bioshock game did you like more, Bioshock or Infinite?

I absolutely loved that game, the big daddy design I just, omph~

I kinda imagine that he would be yelling for them to go away or well shouting 'big daddy' or something. Eh :T maybe just screaming.

I kinda took some artistic liberty with the green glowy effects, but I regret nothing on that matter~

I had considered it but given he wasn't skewering someone and the fact it was for a contest I wanted to keep the gore level down. Though it was very tempting trust me.
Good suggestions there though! I agree I would of liked to have blurred the hand a bit more, definitely will keep that in mind next time I'm applying that affect.

Thank you very much~!

I really liked both of them honestly! But I'm gonna have to say that Infinite kind a holds a special place in my heart, though I liked the graphics and the way that Bioshock worked over Infinite

Yeah, I absolutely agree!

"MR. B!!!!" xDD
I can totally imagine that. x))

You shouldn't, it looks awesome! ^^^

Ahh, I see.
Welp, there are a bunch of minors stumbling around the IZ fandom, aren't there?
And you're welcome.

I too have to say that I like all of the games (even BS2) for diffenrent aspects.
In Bioshock it's absolutely the story, it downright had the greatest mindfuck I have experienced so far, BS2 it was the gameplay (the hacking was more fun, I loved the concept of filming the hostiles also weapon and Plasmid equipped at once? Hell yeah!), in Infinite it was the graphics and character developement (gotta love that light and Lizzy's sass).
But the original Bioshock is definitely my favourite so far, mostly because I'm a sucker for both Jack and Atlas. >w>
Have you played Burial at Sea yet?

(sorry for nerding all over the place, I'm gonna clean that up later.)

Yea, a majority of the fandom is made of minors so I tend to try and tone down what I could be posting in order not to freak the kiddies out.

I haven't played Burial at Sea as of yet, however I have watched gameplays of it. One of my favorite pass times when I'm drawing is I'll put on youtuber's playthroughs of games to make some background noise. I think it looks pretty dang awesome! Unfortunately I no longer have a platform to play any of the older Bioshock's, but I'm patiently waiting for the day when more games are available for the ps4 ;3;

How vigilant. x)

It's a must play if you ask me, BaS was what reasonable connected Infinite to the BS universe for me; before Infinite was nothing more than a gimmicky game that happened to be called Bioshock as well.
But BaS (Episode 2 specifically) really tied loose ends together. <3

Omg, I would kill for a full remake of Bioshock on the PS4. *A*
