DA is trying out a new black-page theme. There IS a way to switch it back to the ol' green theme , that's still around, if you prefer! You just have to go up to the top right-ish, and turn off the "Eclipse" option.
Once you're back to the old site, stuff is pretty much the same. You can have the inbox/general browsing sorted by the old method or new method: If you go to your main message inbox, go to the top left-ish where there will be a "Browse/Watch" set of options---be sure to click "browse" to get the old traditional view it's been using for years.

Yeah it decided it wanted to be tumblr, and then tumblr decided it wanted to burn everything, so I think we're headed kind of in a fiery direction layout-wise.

And yet it's still sadly like, the best format for sharing art we have given Twitter keeps nuking its share capability and Tumblr is just plain old being weird about it. It's a hard life.
