That kinda looks like it might of hurt, just a little.I kinda feel bad for my character doing this to him, each time he gets close to escape or making any progress towards defending himself, life gives him a big FU and crushes his hopes and dreams. Kinda like his hand there
And yet I can't not do this to him. Its only down hill from here I'm sure!
Now we're starting to get to the pages I actually enjoy looking at !
I know these pages don't look like much but they actually take a good amount of time, each one at least 3 days to get fully drafted, line arted and colored.

I know you said to hold off on the reviews but actually, I like the composition of the panels. I think all the sideways angles of the panels make you feel a bit off balance and maybe a bit uncomfortable, but I think it works to help you empathize with the character, who has been knocked to the ground and is struggling.

But what do I know? I wish I had the slightest idea about composition and layout. It's actually the area I feel I struggle with most, which is probably why I appreciate what you are able to do so much!

I shush your mouth woman, I have looked through your gallery, i can honestly say you are under estimating yourself. Your compositions and images are fantastically done, and just plane amazingly done. Not to mention your color compositions. Those are just, dang.

I like what your doing here. But I am having a hard time knowing where to look. Like my eyes arn't flowing along the page. if that makes any scene. With a comic's panels should be very neat and flow down the page. Take a look at Neil Gaimans comic book Sandman dose really extreme panels. It's a really good reference.

Thanks for the comment! I appreciate your input and your attempt at giving me constructive criticism they are always a intriguing thing to see.
However, I think you're being too quick to judge. Given I am only five pages into the comic, and things should be explained in time once I get through this beginning portion.
I agree with you on the matter that Neil Gaiman's comics are quite impressive, and have a magnificent flow through them, but you need to take into consideration the 'type' of comics that we are using as ours bases are completely different. I drew my inspiration as an artist from my younger years, and my interest in sequential art from the Japanese 'Mangas.' While if you look at Neil's history as an artist, and his work the style is completely different from that.
From Asian inspired methods and styles compared to a British artists inspirations and art styles.
Like I said before I appreciate the advice and the criticism, but perhaps you should use them a bit yourself before you try and instruct others?
I will try harder to make the flow more understandable though, it is a bit fast paced right now, but that is intended. Along with a bit of confusion.
Did you have a chance to look at the previous pages, or is this the first one you have encountered? I could understand your dilemma if you were drawing judgement from only seeing a singular part of the posted pages.
One thing though:
I am not really seeking any criticism about my story until the first prologue is finished, in my mind a comic should be viewed as a whole and not based on a singular page. Like a puzzle piece to fit into a greater image.
You're welcome to wait until I have the finished prologue fully posted and then write a critique for it. Something I will be making available on my last page.
But until then please do refrain from trying to write a review just yet.
