To those of you who don't know, I was hired as a Resident Assistant (RA) at my university this last quarter. However due to the process we have to reapply for the following year in early January. Due to this I am going to be making more of these kind of images before my return to Savannah. This illustration is part of my rehiring process to be a Resident Assistant at SCAD next year. Basically I have to create a presentation to show in my interview.
The said presentation has to display situations I dealt with during my time as an RA and ways I have handled confrontations with students, so on so forth. This will be my first time reapplying for this position, but I have decided to have fun with the project and make it into something I might continue through the years that I attend college. Obviously I've taken quite a bit of artistic licence with the character given none of my residents at SCAD are green and can summon fireballs. You’d honestly be quite surprised with the things I’ve already experienced during my first quarter there. People aren't kidding when they say that art students are the 'odd ones' some of these images I’ll be posting won’t be all that far from what happened in actual event. This image displaying an actual fire hazard I had to deal with, minus the glowing fireball and replacing it with a metal stick of sorts.
