Land me too tbh they're super cute. Even though I'm not too much of a dog person they still appeal to me a little more than other dogs

yeah! they actually act a bit more like basenjis compared to normal dogs! (and they kinda act like cats..?)
Basenjis aren't as squishy and adorable, but they're my all-time fav and their mannerisms are so similar to shibas!!
These dogs are great for if you're not as much as a dog person,
but they require a loooot of training as pups or they'll be lil stubborn monsters who chew on everything/are very territorial lolo

i honestly didn't know a whole lot about Shias but they sounds like a nice dog.
I only don't really like dogs because they can be too hyperactive and it makes me anxious. Plus I'm afraid of medium/big dogs hurting me accidentally or me accidentally stepping on or hurting s,Allen ones lmao

Most people don't understand this and their tiny dogs end up super yappy and annoying x'P
Like a cat, you just have to wear them down by playing with them. Older dogs are more lazy/quiet and some breeds require less exercise~
A golden retriever or beagle sounds like the best kind of breed if you want a super friendly,loyal, relaxed dog :3 They're often therapy or special needs dogs. (although almost any dog can be a special needs/therapy dog if trained properly!)
Our basenji mix we have now would be notorious for biting/chewing everything/being super yappy and uncontrollable but since we're skilled at training dogs, he's the sweetest and most relaxed pup who's never bitten anybody since he was a puppy! Everybody loves him lol. It all boils down to how much time you're willing/able to spend to train your pup
I understand being afraid of dogs though! I'm actually terrified of bigger dogs I don't know because of their teeth. Dogs have their own personalities so you just have to get to know bigger pups and understand what they don't like/their warning signs so they don't bite you. Dogs never attack people randomly or for no reason unless they have rabies or something lol. They have specific body language. I totally get it when people don't want a big dog though !!

Heh yeah that's the issue is I'm too lazy to play with the dogs and stuff to wear them out. That's why I like cats because they're also lazy assholes lmao. Like sometimes they wanna play but most of the time they're just like nah I'm just gonna nap and maybe lick my butthole right in front of you.
I know know that dogs don't attack without reason but I am smol and a somewhat anxious person so even them just being playful intimidates me lmao. I try and ignore it though since I know they're not trying to or anything. My girlfriends dog is probably the only big dog I really likes because she's a freaking cutie okay. She's a German Shepard and she still acts like she's a puppy in the sense she thinks she can still fit on your lap. She's also always smiling and even if you just tell her things like "hey Mya, you're a dog!" She'll get all happy like "WOW I DIDNT KNOW THAT!!!!! Thank you human for telling me this because now I feel super special!!!" And it's great.
She he also gets jealous easily too. Like my gf has fish too and I REALLY like fish so I'll be just watching them, like just looking at them I can't even touch them to give them attention so I just watch. And her dog will come up and start nudging me like pay attention to meeeeee. Like I could give Mya attention the whole time I'm there but as soon as I even look at any of her other pets she's like nah my human. It's hilarious. XD

and yeah I understand O8 My big dog is just like that too omggg ;w; they're like oversized puppies a lot of the time~ Buddy's getting a lot more cranky now though since he's old so he's not as friendly :C makes me sad - @;; )

Oh I tend to mess and and ramble either way because I don't proof read anything HAH. but yo I totally feel the same way about long conversations. Plus it's just nice knowing someone actually likes talking to you.
Lmao I do the same thing there but only with certain people. If I'm really comfortable with a person I just spew out whatever and send it whenever but like if I just met them or if it's someone I kinda look up too I get all anxious when trying to communicate because I don't want to sound weird or write too much or put things in there that aren't really necessary

Yeah I'm just overly anxious about simple stupid things sometimes and then I sit there like, no???? Brain stop???? This is fine and there is nothing to be nervous about right now??? Although with some people I have just kept trying to approach them and stuff and so I'm slowly starting to feel less anxious about approaching them.

I've gotten a lot better with social things just by being forced into social situations I've noticed x-x I have social anxiety so it's a bit of a struggle weeps
