Hey, it's me with my silly critiques!
I like the hair, it looks soft and fluffy. It's neat that you have given them slightly different hairstyles. The same with the eyes, I like their shape. The expressions are alright, as is the shading.
The ears are both good and bad. I like them on Dark Link, they add to his mischievous character, although his right one could be a tad higher. Normal Link's ear, however, is placed much too low; or is too long, depending on how you look at it. Usually ears (pointy or not) are in line with the eyes - the bottom line at the height of the tip of the nose, the top along eyebrows (here obviously the last one not applying). I would give him ears facing up, to contrast with his Dark side even more.
You've given them big foreheads and soft features to Link - the last one is a good choice if you wish to portray him as the good, innocent guy. However, it also makes them look more like children.
Now the last thing. The Lens Flare. It's appealing for someone just beginning to work in Photoshop to stick it in for some added "realism." However, the effect is the opposite - everyone immediately recognizes it and it has been abused way too much. In any professional book or magazine for Digital Artist they advise against using it. Why not, instead, draw some reflected lights on the swords?

Lol, it wasn't tool long and NOT spammy, but helpful information for future art! Shading metal? Hmmm, like swords and stuff? Oh! Mouths the devil of art, realistic mouths are pretty hard to draw so I just stick to the simple line mouth.
Lol, I still have a crush on Link and Dark Link. Why does Nintendo have to make Link so adoring for us fan girls? It's not fair! Lol and Vaati is from Four Swords and stuff for DS, right? I don't play the ones on DS unfortunately. Lol, Vaati... hmmm, another evil master mind.

I haven't actually played the Four Swords subseries, but have read the manga. You are probably thinking of the Minish Cap, which was actually made for the GBA. It's the game explaining Vaati's origin and I adore it to bits. Check it out if you ever get the chance to.
It's all Nintendo's evil plan! They appeal firstly to serious gamers with epic adventures and swordfighting fantasy, then try to bring in the fangirls with charming heroes and villains!
