Page three. Look some talking!
How's the readability? I hate hate hate white speech bubbles with black outlines, no matter how much easier they are to read, because they're ugly, and distracting to the art. So I'm trying to figure out what is readable but still not so blunt.

I think the best option is to make the bubbles slightly transparent? They will still be readable, but they won't stick out like a sore thumb and ruin the drawing.

I originally had transparent ones, and it was probably the way I did it, but it just looked... unprofessional? It's hard to describe. It wasn't downright bad, but it was distracting and not really the look I wanted.
I went with slightly tinted instead, and I think that works way better.

And I think everything looks great, the speech bubbles are not distracting and are easy to read ^^ I also really like the more cell coloring and shading too ^^ It makes it look more crisp~

Haha YES. I'm glad you commented on those because I've seen people use them or something similar before and I liked it so I wanted to use it, and I figured out a really easy way to make them. Haha, I was so proud of myself. XD

Very good speech bubbles. They flow with the comic, are readable but not distracting, nor do they stand out way too much. Only critique would be the font, I'm a bit of a typography nerd, so I would suggest, perhaps making your own font or going on a site like DAfont.com or such, and find a font that can be used for commercial use ( there are surprisingly lots ), that perhaps have a little more personality, without being illegible. It adds character to a story ( and also perhaps consider different characters having slightly different fonts, or colors associated with them. This is of course not necessary, and may not fit the personality of your project, but that's entirely up to you. ). Regardless, excited to see this comic shape up.
