Propeller Knight from ”Shovel Knight”. He is one of the eight knights of "The Order of No Quarter", and a free-spirited sky pirate, relishing in his fluttering cruiser, the Flying Machine. Nicknamed ”The Spin Controller”, this airborne allurer never fails to pick up admirers, and always displays an overall refined manner, wether it is speaking or fighting. Apart from using his trusty rotorcraft helmet, Propeller Knight is an ace swordsman, using the most elegant cutlass one could ever dream of.

To be honest, Propeller Knight has been somewhat overlooked from my side, before I decided to draw him to complete the order. Quite sad actually, because his design is interesting and rather complex (especially the helmet), and his merry, unrestricted charmer personality is quite enjoyable. I also like how he seems to be the least evil knight out of the order, and is mostly into the whole thing just for fun. I really happened to appreciate him more while drawing him! His boss battle can be rather annoying depending on which campaign you are playing, Plague of Shadows being easily the most infuriating. However, you must give this guy bonus points for his creative use of his propeller helmet, it’s not just for flying with…

This drawing wasn’t too hard to do, actually. The hardest part was the propeller, to get the right perspective of the rotor blades. But by using a circle as a base, I drew it quicker than I thought I would do, and gladly surprised myself. The golden colours may not be as glossy as King Knight's, but I'll accept that, as the light setting is different here. The perspective of the cutlass might be a bit offbeat, but otherwise, I don’t have much critizice on this one.

(With Propeller Knight, this concludes my drawing collection of ”The Order of no Quarter” knights! It sure has been fun, and it's nice to have them all as a group now. I’ll probably celebrate by start drawing the other characters from ”Shovel Knight” soon.)
