I love that little line over your right eye lid (shows on left too but harder to see) . My guess it was a bit of the eyeliner or mascara rubbing off but.. it almost looks like you took a needle and thread and stitched a hemline across the lid.. which is just.. creepy...
and the funky swirly texture across the skin you added is just awesome.. totally loving it. Would be great to see it added on a cg rendered version so you could tweak the way light reflects off it.. and it properly curves to the angles of your face. Even so it looks SO kool because it's subtle and makes the picture feel uncomfortable.. but you don't immediately know why.
Well.. aside from the cut out eyes... I would LOVE to print this as a faux wall painting and put motorized eyes in the eye holes that follow motion....
Not sure about what the title means.. the lips are as perfect and awesome as always.They almost.. don't fit the picture.

hah. well thank you for all of that. I love when people read into my art work. I always make it in the sense that I don't want it to mean anything and see what people come up with. I actually just put "crossed" as the title because I put a cross in the corner and couldn't think of a better name. But I always love to hear what people think it means. so thank you. and my lips thank you.
