What is "the truth ?"

Comic log:

SHADOWMONGER: You see, when you live within someone's mind, you learn a lot of things... For example, I learned how to reach the minds of others and talk to them, using their hatred to take the best out of themselves for my cause...
Doing this gave me the occasion to uncover a LOT of secrets about things that are... well... true... but hidden in the shadows.
And you know what the best part is ? Some of those truths can answer your identity questions. It's a shame you didn't find these answers by yourself, they were so obvious... You were literally one step away from them and turned around... Aaaah, what a shame, what a shame..."

*Traveller gets pissed*

SHADOWMONGER: But some things better not be in your dirty hands... Right, Markus ?"

TRAVELLER: YOU BASTARD !!! How DARE you taunt me like this !? This is REALLY disrespectful ! I'm gonna teach you how to REGRET YOUR WORDS !!!"

SHADOWMONGER: Ooooooh, thank you so much !"

TRAVELLER (Inner voice): "Hey, wait a minute... She deliberately provokes me, hoping that I set her free in my anger ! You freakin' manipulator..."
"I need to calm down before I do something incredibly stupid."

*Traveller calms himself*

TRAVELLER (Inner voice): "There we go. I should've seen that trap... Nobody can tell me who I am. I need to find it out by myself."

TRAVELLER: ...Nice try."
