Uniqua as a teenager. Uniqua still lives in the same house with the big shared backyard that is still shared with all her closest friends. Uniqua is a cheerleader at Backyard High School. She knows ASL (American sign language) because she had an older sister who is deaf. Despite being in high school, Uniqua calls herself a late bloomer because she has barely gone through puberty. Uniqua is the baby in her family. She has divorced parents. Her mother is single, and her father has a second wife who has two sons. Uniqua always gets very annoyed by her two older stepbrothers.
