Description
This is an etching I did into an old guitar as a gift for someone special. This is a lyric from a song by Neutral Milk Hotel called "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea."I drew the design onto the guitar in marker, then etched over it using a speedball and an X-Acto knife. To finish, I rubbed black India Ink across the etching and then wiped off the excess.

Hmm... I painted a Ukulele a while back. I think I posted the picture of that. I don't usually carve, actually. That was the first guitar I carved. Once I carved on a wooden briefcase.

I remember you painting the Ukulele. You did a good job on it, was Adventure Time themed right? You should try doing some more of it. IF you get really good, you could be as awesome as Gustav Dore'.
