Alice: Maddness retunes fan art
Alice Liddell and Queen of Hearts.
(Queen looks just like young Alice and actually she's "Alice's own mind" or something. but I prerfer weak theory that Queen can be...Elizabeth Liddell *^^* )
and yep! I didn't fail picture with gouache x)

I like to think that the Queen in Madness Returns represents the childhood trauma deep in her mind; the root to her madness.
In the first game, she resembles Alice's insanity, but since Alice conquered that part of her mind, she has to go back to discover the reason for her problems to start with. Hence why the Queen is literally rooted deep inside the castle with the tendrils, and why the Queen herself resembles a much younger Alice, possibly at the time of the fire.
((also, speaking of all this psychological exploring made me realise something that I doubt we'll ever get, but would be so awesome if we did:

I think the queen is Lizzie cause when Alice reaches the train and gets to the Queen she says "my Lizzie"Β

When you think about it, the connection between Lizzie, Me, & Queen is understandable. Queen of Hearts is meant to look like a young me but it's also should be noted that if you look at the picture, I now after growing up look like Lizzie.

Spectacular work, though- I love the manic look in their eyes. "The Weird Sisters" would be an understatement with these two.
I also thought this version of the Queen of Hearts looked like a younger Alice, but then we see (in game) that it's a manifestation of Elizabeth.

Both, good and bad things: there's excellent quality and beautiful graphics ** but real fans say it's less interesting(not thee plot but the gameplay) and also sound and atmosphere were better...blah-blah, But I had fun and I adore the new game XD
