That’s how Maria (me) would look like if she was in Wacky Races (1968) and Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines.

Maria is a Russian girl of few words, although she often drops sharp and sarcastic remarks about Dick when his plans fail. However, she is deeply loyal to Dick and is ready to console him if he feels bad. If Maria does something wrong, Dastardly insults her or yells at her but never hits her (unlike Muttley). He also secretly cares about her (even seeing her as his protégée) and fears that she might leave him one day. Maria stays with Dick because she left her home but lied to him that she is an orphan.
Muttley has love/hate relationship with Maria. On the one hand, Muttley is angry that Dick beats him for his mistakes, which he doesn’t do with Maria. In addition, Muttley is clearly jealous of Dick for Maria, thinking that his master loves the girl more than him, so sometimes the canine frames Maria, but soon regrets it. On the other hand, Muttley, being a dog, senses that the girl loves him (in general, Maria loves more cats than dogs, but Muttley is the only dog she loves), and Maria helps him in his chores and lets him daydream, which Dick does not approve of. However, Maria gets sometimes annoyed when Muttley laughs at his master.
Maria is on good terms with Klunk and Zilly, but she is annoyed by Zilly's excessive cowardice. Both men are deeply attached to the girl and fear for her life.

NOTE: Maria and Scoob! Dick’s relationship is very different.
