I know I haven't posted a deviation in forever, but I was working really hard on this one...I drew this after having found out I had been lied to as a child for resons of not wanting to traumatize me when it would have prevented a lot of problems later....They were stupid enough to assume I would never find out....*ends rant* Anyways....enjoy the art...that I did with Gimp's awesome Freeware PWNAGE. First off, the line looks like a long rectangle. Arms have quite a bit more shape than that. There's muscle there. Even though the elbow's cut off, it looks as if it would be nothing but a point. Her breast looks sort of flat, and as if it's connected to her arm. The hair flow compared to the way the body is facing also looks very awkward to me. The left side of the face looks a bit too wide, but it may just be because you can't see her eye.
For the coloring and lines, I suggest shading, shading, and some more shading. Cleaner lines give for a cleaner picture as well, but only if you color well. The color leaking out over the lines gives it a messy look.
