"Evil Genius" by Catherine Jinks is about Cadel Piggot, 14 yr old super-genius studying at the Axis Institute for his World Domination degree. At several points in the book he has had the occassion of dressing as a girl, "Ariel" as he calls her. I tried to draw him, but found taht I just was incapable of drawing 'innocent' so I drew him as Ariel, though the one on the left is probably more like him as a He.

I'm actually getting really pissed at my scanner because it always scans out of focus in places. Probably due to the fact that I dropped it last year, but still, no excuse.
The drawing on the right shows him deck out (or rather made-up, seeing as it's only a portrait shot) on his first excursion as Ariel. He walked into the men's toilet near the Library and was subsequently attacked by one of his teachers who mistook him for a girl and beat him up a bit. I'm not very good at bruises, so it was a bit of guess work, seeing as I haven't had that many shiners before. Maybe later I'll do a full body shot, if I can manage it.

What I liked most about this picture is the way I coloured the hair. The hair and the eyes are in fact were done using colour pencil, as was the lips and the blood stain. I added in skin tone and bruise using PSP7, so to answer the unasked question, yes, this has been manipulated slightly.
