Just a random scrubby elf doody-whatsit. I bought a new sketch book, so I'm trying to actually create pictures that are worth showing off.This picture you will see later in another version with two other elves. This version, cos I think it's funky is only in ink (plus pencil shading on face) because I have to go to uni at an ungodly hour tomorrow morning.
Are his legs too short? Granted, he appears to be walking, but still, I think I made a fatal flaw when drawing him. I always start characters mid-way down the page and end up without much space for legs. Terrible habit.

I like it. I have to agree with Ered, the legs do look a tad short, but that might just be because of the pants. As far as I know human beings are not always in proportion so I don't think short legs really matters.
It's well drawn, add a background and colour it and it will be a really nice pic.
I look forward to seeing it finished.

I do that too! I mean start drawing at middle and end up with short legs 
Anyways, his legs do look a bit short, if you measure it I think legs should be about half of the whole body including head (I'm not sure though). I don't think it matters, it's a good picture. Besides, Spock
