I think because you didn't know who the person was, that would be all the more reason not to insult them, wouldn't you think? This has nothing to do with the future, it's all in the present.
And this isn't my ego speaking. I commissioned this from a friend. I'm not a coward, so I see no need to hide behind a "persona". Drawings are more involving when you can be in them as yourself.
