Thanks! Actually, other than the focal B&W there is no manipulation to this shot. The tourist were, of course, there first - I moved to get them in the shot.

Of course. Has anyone (to your knowledge) actually defined where the line between photography and photomanipulation lies? It seems like a very blurry edge. Obviously cutting and pasting is a manipulation, where simple cropping and curve adjustment is considdered photography. Tinting is considdered photography, I think, as is B&W conversion. But how about this peice? Did I mis-categorize it, do you think?

No no, I don't think so. I mean, as you say, it is a blurry edge, that's why I think one has to choose according to his personal taste where to put his works. To tell the truth, I think that the huge choice of categories in which dA wants us to divide our submissions is sometimes even ridiculous. What I meant at first, when I wrote "nice manipulation", is that I think that your choice to leave the colours where you left them added something to the shot. And I liked it. That's all. :-D
