Description
Aaah an actual reference for Path!
I wonder how many times I’m going to redraw that lichtenburg scar before I settle on a pattern. It wraps around from her back to her chest area and is a little more faded in this form (as far as detail goes) than it is in her other one. It’s old enough that her scales have mostly regrown over the region and just remain a bit discolored. The scar on her jaw is a little more recent.
I guess I’m okay with the coloration, I wanted something simple for her. I’ll keep it for now and see if it sticks.

I love the anatomy that you've worked out for this dragon. Obviously a lot of thought went into her design. She looks fantastic.

Ha thank you! I don't think I'm confident enough in the way I compose refs to take commissions on them, but I'll keep that in mind c:

Well, maybe just a single character with flat colors, at least. ;D Anyway, will keep an eye out if you open!

I agree with TornTethers, the scales on this lady are really well done, and I like Path's body shape and proportions. Her simple coloration is also quite nice, and the scar is interesting. I don't know much about her, where did those scars come from?

Thank you!
Oh I forgot I took down a lot of what I had posted on Path here! She's the character my plot follows. The one on her side/belly came from her brother, Brenth, who has an affinity for lightning and would prefer her out of the picture. She gained the graze wound on her jawline and lost half of her right horn during a bad first run in with another character, named Algol, but him and her at least became friends afterward. Her and her brother on the other hand, not so much.

You're most welcome. I have a certain affection or lighting dragons or creatures, and I had a feeling from the shaping of the scar it may have been caused by something along those lines, or energy of some sort. So you at least did a good job in executing the scar specifically enough that I gleaned some hints! What happened in the situation with Algol, if you don't mind me asking? Was it a misunderstanding sort of situation, or was the fight intentional, with motives later diffused?

Thanks! Lightning strikes can leave a particular scar pattern so I tried to get as closed to something like that as I could.
It was a misunderstanding that they worked out afterward, a wrong place wrong time sort of thing. She mistook Algol for a member of a group he wasn't a part of and by the time she realized her error, it was a little late and he was on the defensive.

You're welcome. And that they can! I find them really interesting to look at. Seems lucky for her then that maybe the situation calmed enough for the misunderstanding to be realized, at least it wasn't any more severe an injury than a bit of her horn and a small scar on her face.
