Description
SIDE NOTE: Please note that this tutorial is a few years old and my own art has improved a lot since then. I will eventually update this, or upload a new one completely. In the mean while, I do hope it helps!*edit* due to dA issues with showing the damn tut, i had to reupload it, no preview image. Sorry for inconvenience with that stupid downloading.
--
The long awaited anatomy tutorial is finished! I hope it helps people, I hope it's satisfactory... It took me forever to do it... oO; This is obviously not for anyone that knows a lot about anatomy already- it's a tutorial to help people that don't know much or need help improving. Please ignore any spelling mistakes... I'm sure they're there even though I did look it over a few times. I do indeed hope this helps people. It's hard to cram something as complex as human anatomy into a little tutorial like this, but at any rate, I still hope some people will find it useful, even if it's not exactly perfect....
Sorry if there's anything I failed to mention- like I said, there is just so much information, it's hard to fit it all in.
Thanks! Enjoy.
Edit: Sorry for the long loading time... >>;;;
EDIT: DISCLAIMER!!! I do not claim to know everything there is to know about anatomy nor do I claim to have a perfect knowledge. I KNOW this tutorial is flawed and is not a perfect shining example of EXACT proportionate anatomy. Please understand this tutorial is not designed to cause you to draw LIKE me- but give you a basic understanding of skeletal structure, muscle structure and how it all fits together. Find your own style and work off more than one source. I do not claim this is the only way you can learn anatomy. You should study from multiple sources, but this can be a good foundation to get you started in an UNDERSTANDING. Again, I do not claim to know all, so do not think that I am. Thank you.
comments and faves appreciated.

Not to be pushy, but may I request one of facial structure?

It's not pushy. I don't think I've gotten a suggestion for that. I'll look into it when I've got some time.

Β (Oh and could you do a tutorial with drawing heads? Β Like looking up down or askews? Β Your perspectives (on humans and athros) look perfect and it would help me a ton!)

I'm not doctor, but I'm pretty sure that women aren't that skinny.
π: 0 β©: 1
odduckoasis In reply to CanineTherapy [2013-04-03 07:09:19 +0000 UTC]
Bodies vary from person to person. Not everyone fits into a perfect mold, but I have seen some crazy thin women before that sometimes makes me go 'how are they that thin?'
Granted, this is /several/ years old, and as I already stated, I'm no expert, but yeah. Thx.

Don't apologize for lack of perfect proportion. Having taught anatomy a a medical school, I have a tip for you: apparently even God doesn't get proportion perfect every time! Keep up the good work and thanks!
π: 0 β©: 1
odduckoasis In reply to GW4 [2013-04-02 08:34:07 +0000 UTC]
Thank you so much for that. It's very true in that fact, since not everyone is so perfectly proportioned, if that were the fact, everyone would be a SIM haha!
And you're welcome!
