Description
Another tutorial for you to enjoy! Again, it's long- but, not so much reading really. I hope it helps anyone that needs assistance in drawing feet. I know the artwork isn't that great, but stfu xD, it's just for helping you draw, not meant to be perfect. Forgive any and all typo's. xD;;Disclaimer: I am not a professional artist, I am still learning as well and am sharing what I know now. Please keep that in mind if you feel the need to critique me.
N-joi!

lol. Nah, it's not so odd. I've found it can go either way. I didn't think about it when I wrote this. lol.

It's not larger as it's longer. Should I take a picture of my own foot? lol.

A lot of people have said that though, but I've noticed that in feet, it seems that the second toe can be longer or the same length in male and female, unlike the hand where the ring finger is always longer than the index on females. It's weird, but true. o.o

Oooh. You didn't specify. lol. That's a very small part of the entire piece. In fact, I've found a wide variety of both toes that are even and the toes that have the second one as longer. However, in a lot of paintings and such that I've seen, the second toe always seems to be longer, but I suppose that's just a pref of the artist.

This helps a lot, but how big would the feet be in proportion to the body?
Sorry if my question doesn't make sense.

odduckoasis In reply to CluelessChibi [2010-07-19 06:33:49 +0000 UTC]
Nope, makes sense. Actually the measurement of a foot is the length on the inside of your arm, from the bend of the elbow to the wrist. Try it, put your foot on your arm and you'll see it fits. I've done it, and I have small feet. haha. Heel in the crook of your arm, toes to the base of the palm... I just did it now... hahah. So weird. xD

Hmm....
In the tutorial, you said that a link was provided for the bone-foot. Being curious as usual, I decided to check it out for myself. You forgot the link
But this is a great tutorial, and I will definitely use it in the future!~
