Another tutorial for you to enjoy! Again, it's long- but, not so much reading really. I hope it helps anyone that needs assistance in drawing feet. I know the artwork isn't that great, but stfu xD, it's just for helping you draw, not meant to be perfect. Forgive any and all typo's. xD;;Disclaimer: I am not a professional artist, I am still learning as well and am sharing what I know now. Please keep that in mind if you feel the need to critique me.

W00T, feet! *excitement* I have numerous drawings that have perfect bodies, heads and faces...and then blobs for feet and hands. That's mostly due to laziness, but partly because I don't know what I'm doing XD

Has anybody noticed that that there are racial differences in feet? Like, this tutorial mostly applies to (average) asian feet but (average) european (maybe western, I'm not sure) feet tend to be looking longer and the big toe is definitely the longest.
But of course, before considering the fine details, having a clue how to do it is needed to start

well, all feet and hands and bodies are different, so yes, there will be differences when it comes to such things like the feet. This is a basic tutorial about the feet in general, all race is exempt. It is only talking about how to draw the basics. When you add in the extra elements, that's when the art will become more personal. Since I did not use any color or point out any gender or racial specifics, I disagree that this would only apply to one race of feet, that's just silly. Such a statement could be applied to all tutorials. This isn't about specifics, but the basics, and once you know the basics, you can alter the drawing to fit the need (such as race).

Sure, the basics. I just wanted to point out that this detail about toe lenght doesn't fit everywhere. But you're right, that can be altered as needed.

Oh a good hint to put on there is that feet are the same size as your wrist to your elbow. I use it all the time when i'm drawing people.
