Probably one of the best fractals I've ever made. This particular shell ia an abolone shell, found around Australia. It can be made into some really nice jewellry.Related content

I have not actually. While I appreciate 2 dimensional art, I seem to lack the skill necessary. Give me a lump of clay or a pen and paper and magic seems to happen though

I promise you, it's easy peasy. You don't need to write scripts, I usually just click force bi-symmetry and then click on mutations like 100 times until something cool comes up
Google apophysis, the free programs are on the apophysis site all ready to download and have fun with!
I love sculpting and drawing, too. Very much indeedy.

Where abouts do you live? (no need to be specific) Where I come from there's tons off cool shells and fish, we have an endangered fish that walks on it's hands. Very cool.

Is that the Walking Catfish? We live in Montana, so we're limited on the shells we can find to fossils. We get a lot of cochina limestone, which is made of crushed fossil shells. We also have some beautiful fossil corals and blue green algae here.

I can't understand how people make things like this! I'm rubbish at Apophysis, all I can use is Ultra Fractal (which also happens to be the one you have to pay for. I got mine for free though
