An absolutely stunning render, Odile! Β I love the epic scope here, the tiny figures against an enormous, barren landscape. Β This tells such a story.

A lake turned into a sandy desert... that must have been a damn mighty visitor! Too bad it could go this way, since I have preferred this world the way it looked in the Rendo version! Nevertheless, a stunning render!

The desert doesn't come from " a mighty visitor" but from aeons of drought, like the Taklmakan desert for instance where mighty kingdoms once flourished, where large rivers used to flow, where our indo-european ancestors grazed their flocks... 4000 years ago and now there is nothing but sand and dust and fascinating mummies. I just saw a documentary about the new discoveries in the Taklmakan, it was the inspiration for this picture. And there are more " desertic " pictures to come... But in the middle I will put an oasis for you as you seem to prefer humid climate.
