This is a WIP of windriderx23 (forgot how to do the icon thingy) X-MEN Strikeforce line up character Storm as shes my fave, the outfit has me a little worried, I hink this is one created by Windrider and he hasn't got back to me so im winging it at the moment, I'd really like some feedback as to what ppl think. Whoa this is really awesome! Although I'm not very sure about the lightning. I'm gonna start making one with Storm in her wedding dress from the wedding with Black Panther

I'm not sure, but the black lines have no place in the lightning bolts and you have used only white lines in the bolts. I know you will ask "why should I use any other colours except white?" and the truth is, in lightning bolts as well as electricity, you probably know that there isa often a blue light as well. Please check my Storm drawing [link] for more info and ask me if you want any info on how to draw them.

I see what you mean in your link, tho I didn't actually draw this im only colouring it and am working from the original ink work, also I understand about the actual colour of the lightning but it's a work in progress i'm not actually finished with the lightning bolts, i'm planning on changing the colour of the inking around the bolts themselves and feeding shades of blue around the inner edges of the lightning bolts, I was mostly concerned with skin tone at the moment. Thanx for the help tho.

Hey, no problem ! I'm glad I could help. I'm still practicing the colouring part, since I have some bad areas where I can't really handle it, like finding the exact colours for the skin. I dunno, I keep trying to use the blur effect on black leather drawing but I don't really get the effect expected. Any tips?

You can get any number of good pallettes for skin online, I kind of stick to th same pallettes and then use the adjustments to get the effect I want in Adobe, I still have trouble with coloured races especially like Storm here. As for leather I try not to do to much lather work but you would b better with the blur tool rather than effect as you have more control over what you are attempting, try a search for a leather tutorial there are a lot of good tats on here.
