My entry to [link] Competition.Steampunk Batman.
He's got no eyes due to the sophisticated sonar system he has developed based on the principle of bats sonar. A clockwork mechanism turns the receiver inside the ear cavity and a series of wires feeds him information in both sound and image.
A clockwork mechanism on his back feeds into his armour giving him a strength enhancement. It also manages the glider system built into his cloak. You can just about see the scales on the inside of the cloak - they are all connected by a high tension wire system that, at the flick of a switch, tighten to become rigid giving him an effective glider - all clockwork.
Also his batarangs are fitted with a turning gear that spins in the opposite direction of the batarang to improve it's stability in the air.

Pretty good work man. Like how you colored it in such a way that you didn't sacrifice the very fine details of the line work. A lot of people who do work like this usually sacrifice some detail when it comes to adding colors to the work. Aside from that very nice concept. I love how everything is designed and comes with a back story in the description. Well done.

Epic take on Batman, Sir! Bravo! Also, Bruce Wayne with a beard is a rare site. Nice touch. Aside from the idea, the art work itself is amazing.

Batman meets Edgar Allen Poe, who is a journalist. Because Batman is... well... Batman XD they get caught up in some crazy antics, all which inspire Poe to turn out his dark stories.

Equipping one of the greatest heroes ever with the coolest style of this age. His thick armor fits well; the pic really makes you feel like you shouldn't cross that.

I gotta say this is one of the coolest Steampunk Batman's I've seen, even though I more of a fan of the Duster, Sherlock Holmes style Steampunk Batman. Of course that might be because I've never really seen a Gadget Focused Steampunk Batman. Fav'd
