Sometimes when I look at the hammer and sickle I try to imagine all of the millions of people who were killed under that flag. But of course I can’t; because no human brain can possibly comprehend the mass murder of so many people, so instead I just read Solzhenitsyn’s “The Gulag Archipelago”
