Description Tuco Ramirez. A quick painting of my favorite character from one of the greatest movies of all time. My very first portrait.

EDIT: Made some minor tweaks to facial features, looks slightly better now!

This is stunning. I can't believe you created this with a mouse! Art is a total mystery to me. But he looks amazing. The wild hair, the frayed coat, and the look in his eyes. He is my favorite character too!

I started a blog for "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" on tumblr. Not many followers yet, but I'm hoping to bring more fans together and seeing each other's art and ideas and stuff. I've shared this portrait there, and I probably should have asked FIRST not after, but still I want to check that it's ok with you. Here's the link: bloncos.tumblr.com/post/140507…

And more importantly I just wanted to let you know how much I love this picture.

You know you've got a face beautiful enough to be worth $2,000?

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the man or the mo...oh wait, it's that guy from that old Clint Eastwood movie! *googles* Yup, so his name was Tuco, huh? Never really caught the characters' names, but maybe it was because I was a dumb lil young 'un when I saw this movie. Hehe

I'm just amazed at how you painted this, man. He looks very realistic, sure, but the way you used the brush strokes and colors makes him larger than life. Wish more people use this kind of visual approach when it comes to video games! It doesn't have to be accurately realistic all the time, in my opinion. But yeah, I think it looks great!

This is all free-hand, right? I'm assuming it is also digital, but mind if I ask what program you used to produce this? I tried to achieve a similar natural style when I tried to paint some of my stuff in PS a while back, but I'm too dumb to use that thing to get the results I wanted XD

Thank you!

I used photoshop and it's default brushes. I know this might sound a bit weird, but I drew this with a mouse! (The first three pictures I posted here at deviantart were all done using a mouse.)

Whaaaat?! Get out!!! Looks like something produced by a tablet pen at least! You deserve this Respect+5 if you're not bullshitting me XD

I've always thought that the mouse and other unorthodox tools are viable ways to paint and draw something, but I also believe that it requires significant amount of time and effort to achieve a level of dexterity to get great results! It's awesome to know that there are people who can use tools in weird ways.
