I really love all things post apocalyptic.Made this as a practice as i'm trying to get the hang of drawing in photoshop. Drawing with a mouse does not make it easy though.

Are you using textures with painting or only painting ?

I occasionally use subtle textures to enhance the image slightly. As far as i can remember the only textures used in this picture are the fabric of the scarf and the gas masks pattern in the exhale part.

At least here in finland subways run both underground and in broad daylight.
On a side note, the image is actually flipped horizontally. I like to mirror my artwork for a fresh perspective, but being the scatterbrained fool that i am, i forgot to change it back. You can notice it from the mirrored assault rifle.

Sadly this is one of the first paintings i've done in a long time. The previous ones are massively inferior so i don't dare to post them.
On the other hand, i'm already working on a another one, so it shouldn't take too long until i finish it!
