I love the animation on this. It is so smooth and effective, and I didn't expect it at all. I really creates an incredible effect. I kept watching it over and over, picking out individual characters before the light faded. Toriel looks very savage in this, and that definitely makes sense, after such a brutal war. I love the way you depicted this.

EDIT: I just checked the official page and some of your other drawings... JESUS CHRIST dude are you even human? I went straight to hit the watch artist button but I realized I had already pressed it.

I am happy you spot him, but this is not river person. Only one of his ancestors. Many of the character you see their looks familiar, but aren't the one we meet in the game, aside Gerson, Asgore and Toriel. Even Tem, you see in the background, doesn't look like the Tem from know (if you manage to pause the GIF on when the door is opened the widest you'll see her wearing a kimono). Whimsalot is also not the one we know, but it's ancestor from the Royal guard of that.
Later in the story you will have more details about it.

Yes, but Toriel looks like she's holding something big away from the door, and that is where Asgore is holding his paw. I was wondering if that something was a baby Asriel.
