Yeah I hear you. There are too many flying types XD I couldn't pick to be honest.
Spritzee isn't actually a flying type interestingly enough 0: It's pure fairy which is awesome it doesn't get that rock weakness.
But I agree with you, the concept of spritzee is completely fantastic. My head cannon for it is that because plague doctors are creepy with nice smelling flowers and herbs inn their masks, and spritzee is really cute, it's probably an opposite of plague doctors. So because it's nice on the outside, the smells in it's mask are wretched, and acidic, if it it were to take off it's mask, it's face is probably rotting and flat and grey.
Though it is the 'perfume' pokemon so perhaps my head cannon is just stupid XD

Yeah I know it isn't a Flying type but it could evolve into one to be Fairy/Flying or as some people are speculating Fairy/Ghost due to the deaths surrounding the Black Plague. Reasons I believe it will be plague doctor based is because it is not only classified as the Perfume Pokemon (which you brought up saying how plague doctors would spray perfume and other nice aromas in their masks) but it has the Healer ability as well as the move Aroma Therapy which furthers the idea that it could be a doctor. Some people also speculate that it could evolve into a flamingo Pokemon which kind of seems likely but I hope it doesn't.

Yeah that's true. Especially judging by it's looks it's probably likely. The fairy/ghost thing would be really cool too. Or even fairy/dark, though fairy/ghost definitely seems more likely.

Yeah there was a post on tumblr revealing all that stuff, and just realizing all that was like: woahh. There's no way this ISN'T a plague doctor.
Not only because of it's abilities, moves, and classification, but just it's looks in general.
I think it would be really cool if it evolved into a flamigo-plague doctor pokemon. Best of both worlds. It would be a very interesting, and if done right, really really cool hybrid.

It took me a while to be able to actually draw birds but here we are this is the future.

Yeah he's cool as hell. Also it's evolution. A phoenix hawk it's so perfect.
Yeah fire and flying are cool types. Though this guy is going to be embarrassing in competitive battle because of it. Stealth rocks are going to murder him XD
