I love it, but there's one problem. Of course I find this problem with every drawing, but SERIOUSLY, in the book Boromir had short black locks, not wavery brown hair!

OMFG!
I just don't know what to say. The likeness is superb and, somehow, the armour you captured looks very, very cool. This adds up and makes him looks really masculine and shiny.

Now this I like! I think along with everyone else I prefer drawings/paintings using poses that have character. Even if you hadn't a clue who Boromir was you'd still be able to gain an insight into his personality from this and to me that is the whole point of a portrait or likeness or in fact of drawing any living thing. Love your method of tackling hair too as it's one thing that drives me nuts too!
I think I'll be watching you, your work is top notch!

Indeed hair is one thing that drives me close to insanity when trying to paint/draw it and I must say I do like your method of tackling it! Beautifully drawn and like everyone else I like your choice of 'pose', it's one which says who/what Boromir is, it tells you about his character. I really like this, you're one I'll be watching!
