This may be a small detail, but choosing an appropriate light source and using it to make sure the eye reflections are matched up adds realism to the image, which leads to recognition, and recognition in the grotesque amplifies feelings of distress and discomfort which art such as this often aspire to achieve.Β

You always choose my favorite subject to depict. This time, eyeballs, nails, and a vortex into infinity. What brand of pencil do you use? It looks almost like charcoal!

I used color pencils from Caran d'ache. & regular pencil without a brand.
I removed the colors because it was very smudgy & ugly.
