Oh man...
Okay, this took me forever! Been adding things to it for weeks 
It's supposed to be Sonic Adventure 1 style, but I'm very critical of it, so I won't say too much LOL

The anatomy is spot on and the colors look good.
But yeah when I tried to do this style, I was very critical about it too. Mostly the highlights and shadows. But I will say this turned out great.

The shadows and highlights were the worst, I seriously just used the smudge brush because I've never really applied a gradient before XD I'm such a noob when it comes to digital art lol

This was my first attempt at the style.
Looking back on it now, It was ok for what it is. But I wasn't good with hands and feet at the time and I had no style to call my own. But at the same time It did give me an idea on how I wanted to draw my characters. Then as time moved on, constantly drawing and experimenting on ideas, and stumbling on techniques my friends used to draw their characters. I managed to find the style I was looking for. which I dubbed the Sticker Style. Because The characters I draw almost look like stickers. Plus it's kind of like my version of the Adventure style which was more based on graffiti art.
But yeah I know what you mean about shadows and highlights. What software do you use to draw your digital art? I can always offer a pointer or two if you need advice on digital art.

You've got the shading down to a t! That's something I need to practice with, I'm not 100% sure how to do it so I need to watch some artists live stream

As for a pointer, sometimes when I do the outline of the character, I add a stroke effect on the inside of those lines to get the highlight that I want. Either that or I us a thin brush tip and just paint it on the area. As for the shading, sometimes I would use an airbrush, lower the opacity on the brush to a good level, and then draw on the area that needs shading. I wouldn't recommend using the burn tool for shading though.Β Β

Great work! It's pretty spot on to the SA style, if I may be so bold. maybe a harder brush for
the highlighted areas and some minimal hard shadows might give you the desired look you're aiming for?

Yeah, I get you there. SA style is time consuming, and even I dont know many tricks to make it simpler

She's a very melancholy character, very shy and very nervous. She's like a rod for negative energy and absorbs it when around others. She's fearful of loud noises and often hides away in Crystal caves
