Day 8: "backstab". This one wasn't hard.I haven't drawn Thrawn in ages. The last time I did anything with him actually was the best paper I've ever written, on the narrative sustainability of Star Wars. Good times...
His is a death of poetic justice in the highest order: a god of intelligence & strategy taken out not only by small & simple means, but by one of the people for whom he was a tyrant-conquerer-exploiter. Perfect. I like how the canon has yielded so much new material & development for him...but it still manages to feel diminished.
Cause inevitably, it is.
