Now, this one was a really frustrating piece because the book whose illustrations i based the colors on showed Prince Philip's clothes in the wrong colors! It made me paint the prince in pink and purple--not red and blue. I thought he looked gay, and its definitely not right. So I googled him and lo and behold! his colors are blue and red. I repaired it. I think i pulled it off.

Anyway, I chose the blue dress for Aurora because I wanted her lips to stand out.

I would've painted a background had I not been so frustrated with the book.

ohh my gosh please excuse my gushing but - 
the way you colored the dress is absolutely gorgeous !!!! i love the bright electric blue and the deep contrast on the pleats !! i love the highlights on the skirt and sleeves!!

side note: "i thought he looked gay" made me laugh way harder than it should have
