Ilpo and his three Finnhorses stretching out a little for this year's the White December.
He is a grumpy and silent dude but will happily be in a collab with someone else's characters too.

Somewhere near Ust-Kut, Russia.
Ilpo had never been one to actively attract trouble or bad luck, but he had never been one to go and socialise with people either.
Layered clothing was the key, and Ilpo reminded himself about the change of woolly socks every now and then. Among all else had rye bread, salmiakki and coffee - the essentials. Naturally there was some actual food too and for the horses also, a trangia camp cooker, Ilpo's tent and sleeping bag and extra sets of clothes.
Red chestnut stallion Vartti and Vesti the flaxen gelding had their packs and bags packed as full as Ilpo dared, but with a little room to let either of them carry less if the need arose. They were both slightly taller than Tauno, who was closer to a pony-sized Finnhorse anyway, so they seemed to suit the role of packing horses well. Nevertheless, Tauno too carried his own share in a couple of saddle bags. All three horses seemed excited about the new environment and a lot of new horses and people to see.
"Yeah, better look at your friends now, because on the trail we'll have a lot less company", Ilpo muttered to Vesti. He trusted the gelding to keep an eye on his packing pal if Vartti started to act funny.
There were a lot of people, and Ilpo had heard that the White December was a big event, but still. It was big. He couldn't just go to someone and say hello, could he? He'd probably make an ass of himself while being nervous and end up sounding worse than all Finnish rally drivers and their horrible English skills. "Helou, huu aar juu? Mai neim is Ilpo. Thiis aar mai horses." No thank you. He would try to keep up a good pace, but also keep an eye on the 'safe' group led by Vidar and Helena from the organising part of the event. Maybe there would be more riders to meet on the way and to get to know a little better, and maybe someone would need help or something, and then he could talk to them.
